Nick Elward

began his music journey playing guitar at age 13 and piano at age 16. He has a bachelor's degree in Jazz Studies from Georgia State University. As a freelance composer, he has made music for several video games and YouTube channels. Since 2012, Nick has been teaching guitar, piano, ukulele, drums, and composition, including a repertoire of students who seek him out through interest in his original music. Nick believes that its important above all else for musicians to have fun finding the joy in self expression. He likes to bring a sense of humor into his teaching style while emphasizing good technique and effective playing habits. He believes in catering his lessons to the needs and goals of each individual student rather than a "one size fits all" approach.
