Hila Brod

is a voice and piano teacher at Eclectic Music. She received her Master’s of Music in Opera Performance from Georgia State University. When she is not performing locally as a Chorus Member with the Atlanta Opera, in local recitals, or as a staff singer in Peachtree Road Lutheran Church, she auditions and performs with many opera companies nationally. Although having an extensive classical background and opera performance resume, Hila initially started singing Rock/Pop music and performed with a local band around the Washington DC, where she is originally from. She also has sung in many wedding bands and feels comfortable teaching all genres of singing, having thoroughly studied vocal pedagogy in her college career.

Hila also has over 10 years of classical piano training. She has played classical repertoire spanning from Bach to Debussy and enjoys teaching students about music theory. She teaches piano to students of all ages, and recently completed Eclectic Music's Playground training, joining the ranks of Playground instructors teaching this creative and playful approach to general music and musicianship to younger students.

Alli is an accomplished Atlanta-based educator, music director, professional musician, and accompanist with over 15 years' teaching experience. Prior to moving to Atlanta, Alli owned and operated a private piano studio, teaching between 25-40 students each week. She was also an adjunct professor of music at Shorter University, and served for eleven seasons as rehearsal accompanist for Peach State Summer Theatre, The Official Musical Theatre of the State of Georgia. Alli holds a Masters of Music History and Literature Degree from The University of Georgia, as well as a Bachelor of Arts degree in piano performance with a minor in English and French Horn from Valdosta State University.

Music is such an integral part of Alli's everyday life, so she tries every day, with every lesson, to foster within her students a love of learning, as well as a deep understanding, of the music being taught. Above all else, Alli strives to teach her students how to be amazing musicians, not just technical players. Alli believes that any student, regardless of age or skill level, has the ability to be really successful (especially if it's a lot of fun!) As a teacher, Alli aims to perpetuate knowledge and inspire learning through many different techniques. She likes to keep each lesson really individualized, and it's really important to her that she meets every single student exactly where they are.
