bring me your musical challenges!
Hi! I'm Casey McCann, director of Eclectic Music. I am a passionate music educator. My goal is to bring clarity and confidence to my students. I'm booking appointments for the months of November and December at 56 Seventeenth Street in Ansley Park and I would love to work with your family.
I have been hard at work writing a new and innovative method book that provides an integrated approach to reading music and developing the musical ear. I also have a practice system which teaches students to be more independent and self-directed, and an unusual curriculum for preschool students that helps them learn to play songs regardless of fine motor development.
My approach is particularly well suited to:
- a student who is having trouble getting motivated to practice;
- a student who has an unusually good ear which may be impeding progress with reading music;
- a student who has had false starts or frustration in the early stages of learning to play an instrument;
- a student who has shown remarkable promise but is now hitting a plateau;
- a student of any age (including adult) looking for the best possible jump-start on either piano or guitar (or bells, for children under age five).
If you would like to take lessons with me, please contact our office at 404-910-3687 or via email and Erin or Emily will get you set up! You may also wish to check out the tuition options.
If you need more information to know whether my approach will be right for you or your child, please feel free to email me directly or contact me via Twitter. You may also wish to check out my blogs at caseymccann.com and eclecticmusiclessons.com, where I write about issues related to music education and post helpful tips.
Thanks for reading! I look forward to working with you.
Best,
Casey
