Music Education for Everyone
Which comes first, talent or training?
The truth is, aptitude and achievement evolve together.
Let's suspend judgment. Let's not talk about which side of the family is the musical one, which kid in the family has the natural ability, and whether you should buy an instrument or rent one "in case he doesn't stick with it."
What if, working together, we assumed a great outcome for anyone in your family who wants to play an instrument, and provided the support and tools to make it happen?
When you begin your relationship with us, we seek to find out what your needs are, fill in the gaps, and match each student up with a program or teacher who promises to be a good fit.
We don't stop there. With each of our students we look for untapped potential and unexpected strengths. We create new programs tailored to our students' needs, going wide and deep by seeking out new resources and building on what's already working.
This is a formula that helps students succeed. They stick with it. They see results, which gets them to keep going. They perform a recital and get public praise, which motivates them. They play a duet with a friend, which inspires them.
It's a virtuous cycle, and it's possible for anyone.
The greatest joy for teachers is that we never know which of our students is going to come in and blow us away with what they've learned how to do since we last saw them.
Who's next?
