Percussion Teachers

We make an effort to match each of our students with the best possible teacher for their musical, personal, and logistical needs. However, if someone stands out to you from the list below, let us know and we'll see what we can do. Contact us to move forward with drumset lessons.

Jose Cochez, originally from Panama, has extensive experience as a percussion and drumset teacher. He likes to play the bass along with his drum student in order to help the student find the pocket of the groove. He is a versatile instructor who can work on drum corps rudiments as well as rock and jazz drumming. His goal is to get each student playing on the drumset in the first lesson so that their initial spark of interest does not wane.

Will Brown, a member of the Eclectic Music team since 2010, is originally from Milledgeville, Georgia. He has a degree from Georgia Tech and is a self-taught drummer who has played in bands since his teen years. Despite a full-time day job, Will is active in the Atlanta music scene and has become a popular drum teacher. He is extremely reliable and personable.

Cayce Means is an audio engineer and producer here in Atlanta who has been on the Eclectic Music team since 2010. Cayce has a rich history of performing as a drummer with a variety of bands. He is very good at helping young drum students build the confidence necessary for public performance and collaboration with others.
