Atlanta Song Circle

An inclusive, all-ages songwriting workshop welcoming aspiring songwriters and accomplished artists

In a world of X Factor and American Idol it's easy to forget that music, by it's very nature, is a collaborative endeavor, not a competitive one.

Writing songs can sometimes feel like a lonely activity. Yet the world's best songwriters were often part of a larger community the helped nurture and develop their talents - think about all the great music that came out of Greenwich Village and Motown in the 60s, or Laurel Canyon in the 1970s. A musical community is an invaluable element in any artist's life.

We'd like to invite you to be part of ours.

If you've ever put words to a melody, you're a songwriter. Join us at Eclectic Music to share your songs, insights and opinions with other writers.

The Atlanta Song Circle is open to musicians of all ages and all genres. In a supportive, non-competitive environment we present our original songs for constructive feedback from our peers. We also assign songwriting challenges to keep us creating, and invite the occasional musical guest to share their knowledge and skills.

Hosted by award-winning singer/songwriter Eliot Bronson, the Atlanta Song Circle will meet on Wednesdays at 7:30 PM starting on January 11, 2012. Suggested donation per session is $10.

Please contact us to RSVP and we'll provide location information.

Looking forward to hearing your work.
