Viva Violin!
It's not stuffy, but it's not fluffy either.
Whether you're a beginner or you have a few years under your belt, we'd love to play with you this summer.
One of our 2011 violin workshopsIf you're a dedicated player who's longing to break out of your typical orchestra repertoire or your violin book, Viva Violin! is for you.
Our violin workshops are fun and beneficial for Suzuki and non-Suzuki students alike. We'll breathe new life into old repertoire, learn new songs (fiddle as well as traditional) and make time for ensemble playing as well as solo playing.
You'll also learn music theory, play ear-training games, and perform a concert for your family and friends, all in a warm, supportive atmosphere. The week will end with a concert for family and friends.
Prior to the start of the workshop, we'll organize everyone by age and experience. If you are a beginner, you may want to arrange a rental with Williams Gengakki prior to the start of the workshop.
This workshop will be offered the weeks of June 4, July 2, July 9, July 16 and July 30, 2012 at 56 17th Street in Ansley Park. Sign up now!
All Eclectic Music workshops are one-week, half-day workshops in which participants (ages five and up) are grouped based on age and experience. Two workshops can be combined to create a full-day workshop. Tuition starts at $160 per workshop and is 10% off until April 1.
